LaDane
is LaDane Williamson - a North Carolina native and developer
of Ocean Isle Grande, The Pearl, Angels Trace, Ocean Harbour,
Marsh Harbour, Strand River and Grand Strand National.
LaDane's
father is the legendary developer of Ocean Isle Beach,
Odell Williamson, who acquired the island in 1953 and
built it into one of the finest family vacation resorts
in the U.S. LaDane has followed in her father's real estate
and political footsteps ever since graduating from Duke
University.

She
founded her own real estate development, marketing and sales
company and developed lots, homes and golf properties throughout
Brunswick County, North Carolina. When first elected mayor of
Ocean Isle Beach, LaDane was the youngest town mayor in the
U.S.
LaDane
Williamson has given back to Brunswick County and North Carolina.
She sponsors a full-tuition scholarship (including books and
fees) for every Brunswick County high school graduate to attend
Brunswick Community College. Her loyal devotion, hard work and
generosity on behalf of her own Duke University has been recognized
by Duke's prestigious Nicholas School of the Environment which
has named the LaDane Williamson Environmental Health Wing in her
honor.
Ladane's generosity has extended to areas outside her home state. Her love for Christ and spreading His word inspired her involvement with a new building expansion for the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. The LaDane Williamson Christian Education Center; located in New York City, was completed in 2004.
LaDane
is an active member of numerous community and professional orgranizations. Amoung which, she is a full member
of the Urban Land Institute, and a member of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City. She is a licensed multi-engine commerical pilot, a travel enthusiast and the mother of three children.
